This notice describes the cookies and local storage that Todo Buttons uses, and the privacy choices available to you.
1. What we use
Todo Buttons sets no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Browser storage remembers your sign-in session, language, active list, and privacy choices; a service worker caches app files for loading. With a saved Google Calendar connection, short-lived access tokens stay in browser memory and encrypted refresh credentials stay on the server, not in local storage. Legacy browser-only connections may still store short-lived tokens on this device until migrated. The “Keep events on this device” setting, on by default, saves the last-synced events in this browser; if you turn it off, the saved events are deleted and event content stays in memory only. Signing out clears local Google access and any event snapshot, but a saved server connection remains available when you sign in again. Disconnect removes that connection.
Saved data: by default the app also keeps a copy of your most recently synced lists, todos and calendar data, plus your account name, email address and photo link, in local storage so it can open instantly and offline (shown grayed out until it syncs). This is functional storage, not tracking, and it never includes Google Calendar events. Turning off “Show saved data while loading” in Profile → Todo settings deletes it from that device, and signing out deletes it too. See section 3 of the Privacy Policy for details.

3. Managing your choice
You can change your choice at any time in Privacy settings. Rejecting the optional categories does not affect the core operation of the app.
4. Future changes
If we ever add analytics, marketing, or other non-essential tools, we will update this page and honour your choice before activating them.
